Portraits of an Icon...

Last weekend Ben and I decided to head into London bright and early for a spot of breakfast (post coming next week) and to get tickets for the new National Portrait Gallery exhibition 'Audrey Hepburn: Portraits of an Icon.'

The collection of over 70 photos include iconic shots such as the infamous photo taken during filming of Breakfast at Tiffany's and more rare intimate pictures donated by Audrey's sons. The exhibition charts Hepburn's rise to a modern icon, starting with her childhood ballet training and journeying through to her status as an international star.

If you're in London, then make sure you head to the National Portrait Gallery to see this stunning exhibition. Audrey Hepburn epitomises glamour and this showcase is a perfect tribute to the life she built and the people she helped along the way.

Kefalonia...

It feels like an eternity ago that I was sunning myself on the beautiful Greek island of Kefalonia (I only got back two weeks ago and I'm already craving another holiday!). The last time I went to a Greek island was when I was in Primary school so I was excited to head back and to an island I'd not been to before. The 8 of us on the trip stayed in an incredible villa just outside the main harbour village of Fiskardo in the north of Kefalonia. Fiskardo is beautiful. There are the most amazing yachts moored, incredible food and stunning buildings. The week was filled with sunbathing, boat trips, scuba diving and eating all the seafood you could imagine.

I'd definitely recommend Fiskardo to anyone looking for a chilled holiday where you can while away the time reading a book by the pool or at the beach as well as having a few days out taking full advantage of the crystal clear waters.

#WimbledonSummerParty...

On Friday, I was lucky enough to be invited to Ladbrokes' Wimbledon Summer Party held at Williamson's Tavern a short walk from Canon Street. I was pretty nervous as I was going on my own, but from the minute I was greeted at the door by the team from Branded3, I couldn't have been put more at ease!

The venue had been decked out with Pinterest worthy bunting, stripy straws and Wimbledon themed cupcakes (I shouldn't have expected anything less after receiving the invite in the post last week - cutest. invite. ever!) The hours flew by as I spent time chatting to the other lovely bloggers, sipping on Prosecco and eating way too many fondant fancies for a Friday night... The team had organised a variety of different Wimbledon themed activities/games including tennis pong, a strawberry piƱata and a Wimbledon quiz. Somehow, I managed to win the quiz which had an extremely generous prize of £100 voucher.

I can't thank Ladbrokes and the team enough for such a great evening and wonderful prize, it was lovely to meet all of them and to get the chance to meet some amazingly friendly bloggers!
