A spot of lunch...

Since opening in Chichester last year, I have been dying to go to Bill's restaurant. Seeing Instagrams of their chocolate brownie milkshake left my taste buds watering! So last Saturday, I finally dragged Ben there and oh wow, the milkshake was heaven!!

Having not been to any Bill's restaurants before, I wasn't really sure what to expect but I really loved the chatty, friendly atmosphere. It was a nice casual environment where the staff didn't pester you and just let you get on with enjoying your food. There's a sort of eclectic feel to the place - there's lots of different food products lining the walls, low hanging chandeliers and placards with information about different foods.

It's a perfect place to go to have a catch up with friends or for a casual date. It's not too expensive, there's a variety of dishes and who can say no to a brownie milkshake?!

Next time I go I'm definitely going to try their halloumi and hummus in a sesame seed bun - it looks delicious!!

Have any of you been to a Bill's? What would you recommend?

Nails, Nails, Nails...

I'm always looking for inspiration when it comes to painting my nails so after seeing Fleur (Fleur de Force) post a photo on Instagram of her nails, I decided to try out a similar design.

I really love how simple this nail art was to do but how effective it looks. I was slightly worried that my Barry M nail varnishes wouldn't work very well as their coverage isn't always that great when applying just one coat but, I think this design has come out perfectly.

Have any of you found any nail art that is really simple to do but looks amazing? I'm always looking for more inspiration so let me know if you have any tips and tricks :)

I can see the End...

In two months, my time at uni will be over...

This information is only just sinking in. The end is in sight. Everything seems to be wrapping up. My dissertation is almost done. My last lectures are approaching. My Graduation date has been confirmed. Leavers hoodies have been delivered. I'm officially having to grow up!

It's safe to say I've had mixed feelings about uni and I have missed home when I've been here but, I don't think anything can beat the life experience it has given me. I'm the first to admit that before uni I lived in my own little bubble that perhaps left me some what naive. I'm not saying that uni has exposed me to the "terrible ways of the world" but I feel that it has enabled me to begin to edge away from the safety and cushioning of home. Without uni I would never have met the range of people that I now have and never had the opportunity to explore who I am.

My course has given me so much more confidence in my own abilities and this year especially, confidence in my writing skills. For a long time I felt as though I didn't know what direction I wanted to go in after uni, but now I feel like a can see the path that I want to take. I'm even considering an MA (am I completely mental?!).

Everything seems to be wrapping up and it's a very bittersweet moment. One part of me doesn't want to grow up (if only Neverland were real!), whilst the other part cannot wait to leave uni and see where my life takes me.

P.s. On a side note, be sure to follow me on Bloglovin as Goggle Reader is going to be no more from July 1st! I've got a button just up there on the right hand side :)
