Wimbledon 2014...

Wednesday morning I set my alarm for 5.30am and was sat in a field with 5000+ other people before I'd even had the chance to fully wake up. But boy was it worth it! My fun day made up for the fact I was up and out of the house at the crack of dawn all to try and catch a glimpse of some tennis at Wimbledon.

As we didn't have tickets, we joined the thousands of people all after day passes. We ended up waiting around for 4 hours before we finally made it into the grounds. I was a little worried beforehand about how boring it would be just hanging around but the time actually flew by! The queue is really well organised and there's plenty of things to keep you entertained - from food and coffee stalls to other queuers having a dance off.

It was a brilliant day, we sat on the infamous mound to watch Murray win his game, drank Pimms and snuck into Centre Court to get a cheeky photo! I'm definitely going to go back next year, it is so quintessentially English there is nothing not to love about Wimbledon.
